Pricing

I value economic access and transparency for all of my offerings, meaning that pricing is tiered and/or sliding scale.

Why sliding scale

  • Sliding scale pricing allows you to pay according to your means. More financially privileged individuals can afford to pay more, allowing those with less economic privilege to have access.

  • Financial circumstances change. Your needs may shift as you move through life stages, take on new responsibilities, or have changes in employment. Sliding scale offers flexibility while maintaining access.

  • Sliding scale pricing divests from the idea that poverty is an individual condition created by laziness or unworthiness. It is an act of solidarity against racialized capitalism.

payment tiers

Supportive

This is the highest pricing tier, suitable for individuals with substantial economic privilege that allows all basic needs to be met with additional expendable income to spare (such as those who are full-time employed, home owners, and those with generational wealth).

Paying at this level supports access for others to receive services even if their economic conditions do not allow them to pay the full rate.

Sustaining

This is the standard pricing tier, suitable for individuals whose basic needs are met, with some expendable income, but who may have significant financial burdens such as debts or caregiving responsibilities that limit access to some activities.

Payment at this level reflects the true price of the offering.

Solidarity

This is the reduced cost pricing tier, suitable for those experiencing significant financial challenges or instability, such as unemployment and unstable housing circumstances, and who face difficulties saving or having expendable income for optional activities and enjoyment.

Payment at this tier is supported by those engaging in the other pricing tiers, and is offered in solidarity with the economic structures that oppress us all.

In addition to these discrete tiers of pricing for individual services, I am happy to consult on a 1-on-1 basis about sliding scale payment structures and pricing that are more amenable for current needs and accessibility. I have limited availability for pay-what-you-can offerings in some services, while others operate as NOTAFLOF services (no one turned away for lack of funds).

If you have questions about pricing or need accommodations, please feel free to schedule a consultation to discuss or reach out directly via the contact page.

Right Relationship

I offer my services both physically on the unceded territories of the Council of the Three Fires (colonially known as Chicago, Illinois, USA), and online using technologies that are inaccessible to many Indigenous communities, are built with labor from modern-day slavery, and are contributing to changing climates that disproportionately impact Indigenous people and people of the Global South. In recognition of these impacts and in solidarity with all peoples operating under oppressive forces, I reserve a portion of my fees to contribute to anti-colonial and liberatory projects.
